Du Xinnian, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Fashion of Wuhan Textile University, pointed out in his speech that the creative market is not only a grand event to show talents, but also a window to open the future of design.

More than 60 creative projects were collected in this creative fair, and 40 stall owners were selected to show their achievements, covering non heritage cultural and creative, environmental protection handicrafts, interactive experience and other categories. There are nearly 2000 original designs, involving handicrafts, clothing, intangible cultural heritage flowers, intangible cultural heritage Chinese embroidery, daily necessities, DIY design services and other fields.

In front of the booth of "flowers wrapped in brocade clusters", Ji Keyi is showing a mother of pearl brooch to customers. The shell flakes are iridescent in the sun, with patterns like auspicious clouds in Dunhuang frescoes. "The mother of pearl inlay is a millennium intangible cultural heritage. We make it into earrings and hairpins, so that the ancient craft can be integrated into daily life." Ji Keyi introduced that the team took several months to combine traditional flowers with Dunhuang colors, and each work contains the code of symmetrical aesthetics.

The blue dyed cloth bag of "spinning, dyeing, cultural creation and intangible cultural heritage" attracted people to stop. The deep and light texture of tie dyeing is intertwined with the Miao cross stitch embroidery. Su Wei, a member of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Society, said: "The plant dyes are from Banlangen, which is environmentally friendly and healthy. We want to use the language of young people to let the traditional craft out of the museum."

At the "Worried Cloth Strip" booth, a bracelet made of rags was repeatedly rubbed by customers. "These materials come from the waste box of the clothing college, and the leftover cloth head has been sewn and reorganized into a unique jewelry." Lu Anqi, a team member, said that the renovation of old objects is not only a creativity, but also a responsibility.

It is reported that this creative market is one of the activities of Wuhan Textile University 2025 "Huan · Hua" Fashion Week. It is not only the aesthetic education practice activity with brand characteristics of the clothing college of Wuhan Textile University, but also an in-depth test and professional practice course to promote the creative transformation of excellent traditional culture.
