Export Clothing Manufacturers In The EU Pay Attention To 38 Kinds Of SVHC, Which Need To Be Announced Before June.

The regulations are classified as 38 kinds of highly concerned substances (SVHC), and they must be completed by the end of June 1st.
The Bureau reminds us that the relevant enterprises in our city should pay attention to the deadline for EU SVHC notification, and make pport reports within the prescribed time.

The European Union's "chemicals registration, assessment, licensing and restriction regulations" is the most widely used chemical regulation in the world, and is also a technical trade barrier.
Since the official entry into force in June 1, 2007, 4 batches of substances and 46 substances have been included in the empowerment list, such as phthalate, five oxidizing two arsenic, three chromium oxide and so on. The substance on the list has been officially recognized as a high concern because of its special nature to the environment and human health.
Among them, the first three batches of the 38 SVHC were included in the authorized list before June 18, 2010. According to the regulations, we must complete the notification before June 1st of this year; the fourth batch of 8 SVHC will be officially included in the authorized list in December 15, 2010, and we must complete the notification before June 15th of this year.
According to the REACH regulation, the SVHC contained in the article exceeds 0.1%w/w (that is, the total content in the article is more than 0.1% concentration in mass fraction), and the total quantity of the material entering the EU market is more than 1 tons per year. Then the manufacturer or importer of the article must inform the EU chemical authority. If the total amount does not exceed 1 tons, the manufacturer or importer must deliver the relevant information free of charge within 45 days when the consumer is required.
